The Summit will unveil a 10-Year Action Plan to Achieve Community-Based Service
Systems for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs and Their Families.
It is being co-sponsored by HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Family
Voices, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the March of Dimes, as well
as many other public and private sector organizations.
This meeting is for you, if you are:
- A family member of a child with special health care needs
- A youth with special health care needs
- A pediatrician, family practice physician, or specialist who provides care
for children with special health needs
- A nurse, social worker, OT, PT, or other health professional
- A State Maternal and Child Health (Title V) administrator or provider
- An insurer, managed care administrator, or other payer of services
- A foundation or other private funder of service models
- An educator, social service provider, or vocational rehabilitation provider
- Concerned about children and youth with special health care needs
