◊Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment Program is the child health component of Medicaid. It is designed to improve the health of low-income children by financing appropriate and necessary pediatric services. Total unduplicated number of individuals under the age of 21 enrolled in Medicaid or a Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Medicaid expansion program determined to be eligible for EPSDT services. *The ratio of eligibles receiving any EPSDT Services to the number of eligibles who should have received such services.
