HEALTH SERVICES UTILIZATION
Availability and access to quality health services
directly affects the health of women. For women with
disabilities, poor health status, poverty, or lack
of insurance, access to a range of health services,
preventive treatments, and rehabilitation is critical
to preventing disease and promoting quality of life.

services utilization, including indicators on insurance,
usual source of care, health care financing and expenditures,
and use of preventive, dental, hospital, mental health,
and home health and hospice services.
