Graduate Student Internship Program Internships

The deadline for applications has passed. Please check back in fall 2012 for information on  next year's internship offerings.

Master’s and doctoral degree candidates in U.S. schools of public health in MCH programs or in related programs that involve MCH studies, who are U.S. citizens or non-citizen permanent residents in the U.S. may apply. Also, student applicants should not graduate before the completion of their internship.

Learn more about the 33 GSIP 2012 internship offerings.

To apply, students must submit online application form that requires:

  • 500-word essay discussing interest in the internship project
  • 2 letters of recommendation (one from the graduate advisor)
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae
  • Internship project choice: The list of internships will take interested students to details of internship opportunities. Read the descriptions carefully.

The GSIP Committee intends to match interns with the most appropriate internship opportunities regardless of student or state location. Committee members will make every effort to honor the applicant’s ranked choices.
