Problem:
There are health disparities and unmet needs among an increasingly diverse population. Minority populations experience greater rates of obesity, diabetes, and CVD than their white peers and are more likely to live in communities lacking access to health foods/beverages and physical activity options.

We will work with other MCHB-funded training grants on our campus and within HHS Region 5, as well as with other MCH nutrition training programs.
Evaluation:
Our program evaluation is guided by a logic model, and utilizes both qualitative and quantitative process and outcome indicators.
