NCCSHS National Coordinating Committee on School Health and Safety Annual Meetings

Bringing together federal departments and national nongovernmental organizations to support quality, coordinated school health programs

Formed in 1994 by the secretaries of Education and Health and Human Services, the committee has grown to include five federal departments, the Environmental Protection Agency, and 63 national organizations that work to improve the health of children and their ability to achieve in school.
