Our office provides legislative analysis, policy development, budget formulation, and grants planning. We communicate essential information and guidance to state public health agencies, national organizations, and community stakeholders.

We Manage:

• The process and timelines for MCHB Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs)
• The budget formulation process, preparing our bureau’s proposal for the year
• Legislative inquiries about our programs
• The communication of our work and priorities through our website, social media, newsletters, and events
• Policy and Innovation programs:
  • Supporting State Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Policy Innovation Program
  • MCHB Challenge Competitions
