MIECHV Innovation Awards aim to support state and territory MIECHV awardees in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovations to strengthen and improve the delivery of coordinated and comprehensive high-quality voluntary home visiting services that improve family health and well-being.
FY 2022 Innovation Awards
In FY 2022 HRSA awarded $15,891,846 in funding through seven awards supporting eight states to help Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Programs who are making it easier to access home visiting services. These awards will improve intake and enrollment, better connect families impacted by the pandemic with critical social supports, provide home visitors with tailored professional development, address workforce issues exacerbated by the pandemic, and improve work to address health disparities.
The awards fall into two categories, with $7,999,754 in American Rescue Plan funding to support state efforts to develop data and technology approaches that specifically address the impact of COVID-19 on pregnant people and families.
